Catherine Gao
Ms. Gao is the president and founding Partner of Magnolia Capital Group. Catherine brings over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. She had served as investment advisor and consultant at Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley. She successfully advised several cross border private equity and M&A transactions and also managed assets for companies and high-net-worth individuals.
Catherine earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Computer Science from the Beijing Institute of Technology and a MBA degree from the Merrick School of Business at the University of Baltimore.
Catherine maintains her FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities registrations.
Li Hsu
Mr.Hsu is the founding partner of Magnolia Capital Group.
Mr. Hsu has a long history of serving as industry executives in both US and China. He has completed a number of cross border M&As and private equity placements for his own companies.
Mr. Hsu is a seasoned serial entrepreneur and a proven leader. Currently he is the Chairman of Beacool Corp., President of SuperKlean and Custom Industrial Manufacturing, Inc.. Prior to this, Mr. Hsu served as the Chairman of Orisil Corp. a fabless semiconductor design company which was acquired by Avago Technologies in 2008. Prior to Orisil, Mr. Hsu was the CEO of Fiberxon Corp. In 2004 Fiberxon was named the fastest growing company in China and the 4th fastest growing company in the entire Asia Pacific by Deloitte. Fiberxon was later acquired by MRV Communications for $131M in 2007.
Mr. Hsu received his BSEE from UCLA and his MSEE from USC.
